      Close to 1 conviction every month assuming it’s from 18 years old. How?

      Are there any remote, barely populated territories that might be interested in hosting a prison colony anywhere anymore?

      Cause that’s starting to seem more and more like quite an attractive proposition.

      Only 157 chances? I haven’t felt this judged since a Ryanair delight left after just 6 very last and very final boarding calls.

      I wonder what his 156 previous legal aid solicitors said at each of his previous trials? Bet he was trying to turn his life around previously. System is a joke.

      Question for the judiciary: What’s the threshold before someone is deemed incompatible with civilized society? At what point does this become your fault?

      From the article:

      >Judge Colm Roberts said: “You have 157 previous convictions, how many chances do you need? Guess what happens when you drink? You get drunk.” 

      >He said McDonagh was not truly remorseful and was only sorry he was caught, and noted that the accused was on bail for other offences at the time. 

      That’s a judge who tells it like it is. And the sentence is going to run consecutive rather than concurrent. As it should be.

      He is one dodgy box, or no tv-license away from jail time he should be careful…
