Looks like Russia is planning on increasing borrowing to offset increased government spending even further.
The only reason his economy is as high as it is is because of the massive chunk of spending the govt is already doing. I read a report a couple of months back that indicated their pre invasion funds should exhaust around December. This picking up right in time for that could cause quite the amusing collapse.
I’m sure the rest of us will suffer slightly, but if Russia suffers more as a result? Long term, less Ukrainian deaths, less inceptive for Russia to invade other countries. I call that a net benefit.
