I mean the sanctions have been in place most of the war. China or India do not give a shit about Ukraine, let’s just be honest, and are not interested in skyrocketing their own prices to turn away Russia.
It hasn’t worked the previous hundred times but this time it will suuuurely work, right?
Well I don’t see NATO stepping up and hitting Russia with an embargo so we’ll see how that happens

The war doesn’t end until Russia burns. They will keep going until they are hit back. That’s all there is to it.
You know what would put pressure? EU stopping LNG purchases.
At this point likely more effective than US secondary sanctions.
Trump did a good thing by shipping Ukraine erams. I don’t think people realize yet how important that step is going to be. Ukraine needs more long range strike missiles to break the impasse at the front. The US and Europe should ship even more.
There’s an old saying that goes: „A wedge is driven out by a wedge.“ But that could lead to the apocalypse.
Ukraine has waited patiently for support from the west and we haven’t come through. They might as well bomb the shit out of all the oil infrastructure
If only there was a single standard we could all agree on and adhere to so that we don’t have to go to wars.. and maybe we can establish an organisation to enforce the said standards..

India could say the same deprivation of resources storyline and still America will pour resources into Pakistan.
Still we have to admire Zelensky. He marshalled his resources well, and got through the legendary American caprice. Though end isn’t anywhere in sight.
