    1. Is there a reason a program like that would cut off at 29 though? Yeah get fucked 30 year olds? Or is there something else for prime working aged?

This will not work. They need to lax the rules or offer benefits for doing business in Finland. This way companies will open their doors here or establish some sort of footprint. What do they think is going to happen once the 30m euros is spent? Back to everyone being fucked.

Plenty of talent and skilled folks in Finland but its a pain in the ass and/or expensive as hell to run your business here.

They could have also just NOT done the massive education cuts and had all this available to everyone.

Among many negative comments here, I would like still to give the credit for the government with this program. I’m not sure whether everyone else here has been through the period where you have just graduated with so much hopes ahead. Spending 3-5 years studying and ends up doing completely out of your desired and educated areas, or even unemployed is really demotivating.

I understand that there are challenges at different ages, but motivating the younger to participate the workforce is so much better to the future of Finland, rather than driving them away.
