Lots of locals oippose it. Supprised it cant be pushed closer to the airport where theres less houses. From what I understand its essential.
Kinda surprised really, there was only one objection the initial project. But it does highlight the problems with the planning process, everything can be appealed.
This project has gone through real planning hell.
And unfortunately the more its delayed the price increases.
Crazy that it takes the guts of 20 years to deliver an essential project like this, the planning system is broken and adding minimum tens of millions in costs
Because of course there fucking is.
We can’t get anything fucking done in this country as long as clowns can object this easily and frivolously.
We are not a serious country
I don’t think new housing should have a flushing toilet because the roadworks will cause traffic on my commute
