It’s a shame the victims should even believe they have to do this. Also definitely shows they have no hope in any real honesty here.

      Trump:
„Waah! Fake news! Waah! Evil conspiracy by Dems! Wahh! Vladimir, HELP!!

Well, it’s almost confirmed the Republicans will not voluntarily release the files.

    4. Sounds like they need the Witness Protection program. After all they witnessed first hand what happened.

I guess they will be forced to release the real names if they want to challenge the victims.

Make the list with a killswitch. Anything happens to them, it automatically releases to the public.

I’m sorry to hear they’ll be committing suicide one by one shortly after Trump finds out about this list too.

Maybe now’s the time for citizens to step forward and provide them with 24×7 armed protection.

    8. That aren’t in danger, the ones they love are.

After compiling a super-database of tax and personal information, there are infinite ways to threaten.

If you come for the king, you better not miss.

    9. I hope they can assemble it on a block chain or some means to keep their identities secret but recorded until there’s legal protection for them.

Every single one of them should have a dead man switch, just in case

    11. Shouldn’t have announced that before it was ready to be released. I bet some of them are going to be suicided now

      > In the absence of transparency from Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Justice Department, survivor Lisa Phillips told NBC that several of Epstein’s victims had begun compiling **client lists** of their own.

That’s great, but is “client” the word *The Daily Beast* is choosing to go with?

    13. I’m in DC and Trump just ordered a military jet flyover intentionally to disrupt this press conference.

    14. Absolutely tragic they’re having to do this on their own, but it’s very much needed.

And then these victims will be attacked, discredited and even sued – by conservatives (this included libertarians, MAGA, conspiracy theorists, etc).

    16. If they get sued then the government’s list can be subpoenaed for discovery.

If you want to release the names then you release the names. If you threaten to release the names you’re angling for a payoff. Which is exactly what’s going to happen here. Give it a few months and none of these victims will be willing to talk about anything

Don’t go public and say you’re compiling the list. Just compile and release the thing.

Now they are in a lot of danger.

Or they’ve been bought too and their list won’t be the real list.

      Who the fuck knows anymore.

    19. I hope they are doing this on paper. This would be the safest way for secure communication.
