    1. I still have never been to EP. Would’ve liked to go several times, but seems if you’re never gone before it’s pretty much impossible.

    2. It’s ridiculous is goes on sale so soon after the festival finishing. Obviously aimed at capturing those who didn’t go and were feeling FOMO. But it’s a big expense on people.

When in Ireland is this not the case. At this point we’re even worse for this than the US!

    4. I love the annual posting of this and the knickers in a twist comments that follow……….

Has any other festival in Ireland had this same system of buying tickets a year before etc? Longitude? Oxygen? Why does this culture exist around electric picnic? Do they do it so they can have the money and get the acts booked well in advance?

I’d love to go to the afters of EP… Like pay €50 and gain access to all the leftover tents… pick one and it’s yours…
I’ve seen a few videos where a tent costing roughly €800 was just left there, Inflatable mattresses and trolly all abandoned… not to mention how many returns cans could be found…

Was trying to get a ticket for someone, had a special code for them attending 3+ Picnics. Went to the purchasing section after an hour of queuing, wasn’t able to get anything despite the yellow availability option. The person has been at every single EP bar one so this is quite disappointing.
