      Such a sad way to go in your 70s. Her husband probably started beekeeping as a hobby and she was just giving him a hand.

      I can’t imagine the people trying to help her, seeing her dying in front of their eyes. Horrendous.

      My parents keep bees and have all the protective gear and still somehow manage to get stung, I wonder was this women covered up appropriately too?

      I feel for the family.. that’s terrible..

      But also, didn’t think a thing like this could happen, don’t beekeepers usually wear protective kit to reduce stings?

      Bees can get inside the suit sometimes. Even the slightest tear can give them a way in.

      My dad is 66 and he is a horticulturalist and bee keeper and does it for Blarney castle, he’s been stung so many times and one time he was moving a huge hive from a part of the castle house and they got inside his suit and he could no nothing but just keep getting stung. He looked like he had a stroke cos it stung a nerve on his lip and made his face droop, he only started doing this at 58. I’m deathly and I mean deathly terrified of wasps and bees. I won’t open a window in 28° degree weather so this seems like a horrible way to die. RIP to that poor woman

      Saw this earlier on twitter & the comments were horrendous & shows how cruel some people are nowadays.

      RIP to this unfortunate lady.
