    Deutscher Twitch Streamer versucht, nachts in Island Gletscher zu besteigen – ist das überhaupt legal?

    Ich schaue gerade einen deutschen Streamer auf Twitch, der versucht, einen Gletscher in Island zu besteigen. Es sieht extrem gefährlich aus (Clip angeschlossen). Ich mache mir wirklich Sorgen, dass er verletzt wird.

    Ist das überhaupt erlaubt und sollte ich etwas tun?

      Wouldn’t say it’s a good idea and a waste of landsbjörg (search and rescue) resources if he gets stuck. But it isn’t exactly illegal

      I hope he survives. But hiking is legal and so is putting yourself in danger.

      What is he saying in that dramatic clip with all the yelling? It kinda looked like terrible acting to me. I hope he is neither in actual danger climbing a mountain alone in the dark (stupid but legal) nor pulling a hoax for views (not legal if emergency services get called to look for him). Iceland is dangerous and tourists die here all the time doing stupid shit so he could theoretically be in danger. If he hasn’t procreated be sure to nominate him for the Darwin awards if it goes bad but guy can call for help himself if he has the technology to live stream from a mountain.

      As long has he’s otherwise following laws on how to conduct yourself in nature, hiking at night isn’t illegal. Stupid, sure, but not illegal. We have to trust he’s an adult that can call emergency services if he does manage to hurt himself too much to get back to town once he’s accomplished his goal.

      Albeit I can’t say it’s gripping content given you can’t see shit. Probably is more interesting for his viewers during the day when you can see more than two meters in front of him.
