Why don’t we just join the US, if we’re letting them dictate our internal processes this much. What’s even the point of the EU if it just folds to external pressure like a paper tiger. This sucks. Btw. Europe has alternative search engines such as Qwant and Ecosia. More European alternatives (for any product) can be found on r/BuyFromEU.
Given the anti trust decision as well today by the US, I guess I was right to invest on Google betting the governments would not do the job they were supposed to do

Halting the penalties to cater to a madman vindicates his behaviour and just encourages more of the same.
It sets the precedent that the rules and regulations can be bent with enough pressure, which degrades respect, confidence and trust in the EU itself.
There is nothing that the US makes that Europe cannot make itself, and there are vast, growing, untapped markets to sell to instead of the US.
Waiting for appeasers to come tell us how this is good for us.
good! Im glad this is all being exposed and written about. People need to know that the EU is America’s vassal state. After WW2 it always has been and looking like always will be.
