New York Post -Vier Kandidaten und zwei Reserven der rechten AFD-politischen Partei in Deutschland sind innerhalb von 13 Tagen nach den Berichten kurz vor den Wahlen tot gesunken.
Die Alternative zu Deutschland-Kandidaten wurde am 14. September auf Stimmzetteln in Nordhein-Westphalia erscheinen.
Beamte sagten, derzeit sei kein Foulspiel in einem ihrer Todesfälle vermutet, berichtete die BBC.
Ralph Lange, 66; Wolfgang Klinger, 71; Stefan Berendes, 59; und Wolfgang Seitz, 59, traten innerhalb von zwei Wochen den Eimer, berichtete der europäische Konservative. Auch zwei Reservekandidaten starben im gleichen Zeitraum.
Deutsche Beamte gaben an, dass zwei der Todesfälle auf natürliche Ursachen zurückzuführen waren, aber die Ursache der anderen nicht kommentiert haben.

Alternative für den Co-Leader von Deutschland, Alice Weidel, verstärkte Spekulationen, als sie den Kommentar von Economist Stefan Homburg wiederholte, dass die Anzahl der Todesfälle von Kandidaten „statistisch unmöglich“ sei, berichtete die BBC.
Die deutsche Polizei gab an, dass sie die Todesfälle und Details aus Gründen der Privatsphäre von Familienschutz berichtet hätten.

If one engages with ideas of foul play hare, one does have to wonder why „Romanian“ methods can’t be employed to lead to the same results, essentially. And are AfD – as well as all the other predominantly right-wing parties and candidates, talked about so often by the same media instead of having „third rail“ tactic being applied to them – essentially controlled opposition, whether willingly and unwillingly? If that’s the case, and they are playing a role, can they sometimes play a role of a martyr, intended to scare anyone who only begins to thinks about defying the government power by imagery of diabolical secret agents who are able to quietly, efficiently and without any self-questioning get any dissenter out of the way? It is just a though, but one sometimes can’t help but question why are certain scandals, which look like they wouldn’t put the powers that be in the best light, are not properly suppressed and widely talked about by the *mainstream* media.
German here. I always thought our politics were too boring to show up on this sub. Nooope. Yes this is being a topic in German media as well, the mainstream keeps repeating that it’s perfectly normal. You understand, there are many candidates, and it’s totally normal for a certain percentage to regrettably die. The context is interesting as well, this party is rising inexorably and recently became the top polling party. Of course the mainstream and the left especially are absolutely losing their shit, they effectively see this as „we have to stop the next H***** coming to power“.
I hate when the most important stories are only covered by conspiracy theorists.

These municipal votes barely have significant impact on the country level. You can’t compare this against mexican presidential votes. Due to the high number of candidates there is a total pre-election death counter of 12, with 6 candidates dying from other parties in that time. Invalidated postal voters are allowed to vote again after new ballots have been printed. Alice Weidel also said in the infamous interview with Elon Musk that Hitler was actually a socialist, that’s just for your orientation how to read her opportunistic takes about statistical posibilities. The AfD is not similarly successful in the current voting area than elsewhere in the country, ranking currently #4 in the latest surveys.
So please calm down and consider that people die just like that most of the times.
