Must be the worst slate of candidates ever ! Humphrey’s 100% is a no-go for me considering her track record on Animal Welfare.
First time in my life I’m just not gonna bother voting. I vote on absolutely everything that I’m eligible to vote on. There’s not one good option on this
Bit brain dead having it on the eve of a bank holiday weekend. The following week would make more sense and schools would be closed already not impacting that.

Ah, the 24th? Excellent, I’m away the following week on holiday so I was worried I’d miss the election or have to look into mail-in options.

I’m kinda disappointed McGregor isn’t in it. Just so I could see him lose again. Honestly whenever I need a pickup I put on the McGregor vs Khabib or McGregor vs Nate ( the skinny fat gazelle).
Every presidential election in my lifetime has had at least one candidate of quality. Really struggling to see any standouts this time around.
Should we not just hand it to a nationally respected figure – no need for a political background in my book, just a good representative of Ireland. Maybe someone from the arts world or sport (not McGregor before you say it). I don’t know, Enya or Liam Neeson or someone. Daniel-Day Lewis? Be grand.

I’ve seen absolutely 0 campaigning from any candidate, hell I can’t even name anyone on the ballot. It seems like a crazy fast turn around from announcements to voting, without leaving much time for campaigning at all
As long as it is not some crazy tankie like Connelly, or some Varadkar type. Somewhere in the middle.
Haven’t got a heap of downvotes in a while so what better way than say who I’m voting for xD vote Catherine Connelly! Only one who’s close to clear about having zero interest in getting involved in the continents latest aristo spat that usually involves mass pleb death!
