News snippet: As Labor Day rallies took place across the US, the Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson sharply denounced the Trump administration’s threat to deploy federal troops to the city as part of an immigration crackdown.
“No federal troops in the city of Chicago,” saidJohnson on Monday to a gathered crowd at the “Workers over Billionaires” demonstration in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood.

Johnson added: “We’re going to defend our democracy … we’re going to protect the humanity of every single person in the city of Chicago.”

Monday’s rally in Chicago is one of hundreds of protestsorganized across the country as part of the national “Workers Over Billionaires” effort, a mass action demanding freedom, fairness and security for workers, and the right to unionize.

As long as other people struggle even more than me, then this billionaire is the guy for me.

90% of Swedish workers belong to Trade Unions, with bargained wages, pensions and employee benefits. Think about that as you’re working hard in the U.S., Republikan Party screwing you morning till night, just trying to put a can of beans on the table.

      Hello MAGA Meatheads,

How’s that lowering of grocery prices lookin’ for ya? Don’t you worry, I just saw a Fox News Special Report, they said grocery prices are coming way down in a few months. As soon as those tax cuts for the billionaires kick in. LMAO. You chumps never learn, do you?

It was huge, but then you won’t see anything on the media. Just like back in April. We got millions of Americans protesting, and is only like briefly covered in the news for like 2 mins.

and its talked about very little and the protests are dwindling one protest at a time until the protests end cause protests alone wont do enough. we need to take actual action but knowing most americans hatred or money are too much of a priority to do any actual action

Today was a great Labor Day weekend with lots of parades and protests nationwide.

Shows the power still belongs to We The People.

maga is literally counting attendees and then lying about the numbers.

    10. Doubling the minimum wage would double taxes collected from the poor. Instead we get tariffs with no increase
