Heute fand ich in einer kleinen Stadt in CT dieses zufällige Münztelefon im Rücken eines Dunkin -Donuts in den Badezimmern … Vorbereitet sich die USA bald auf einen totalen Mobilfunkversagen?

Good i miss payphones

It’s a glitch in the system
It probably has to do with the influx of illegal immigrants in the country. If there is a need for payphones again the phone company / city will install them to meet the demand of the people.
I keep saying I will use a payphone and make my kids use it when I see one next
A) this phone isn’t new
B) Anything/anyone capable of knocking out cell service prob has it’s eyes on the phone network, as well.

How is this a conspiracy?
Maybe governments have realized that not everyone can afford a cell phone and this is to help them.

They are 100% still around. I was recently released from federal prison and I had to use one.
They dropped me off at the airport with nothing except a phone number for emergencies, and a reserved flight ticket ( that didn’t work!! )
I had a near panic attack. The whole experience was so overwhelming. Being dropped off in such a busy public place, I could not handle the stimulation, I was not used to it. The hot women walking around in tight leggings was especially stressful. Id been around 400 men for far too long, with the only women I’ve seen being obese COs. And to top it off, my reserved flight was not in the system. I had to ask strangers to borrow their cell phone. Being dressed in a gray sweat suit and nothing but a laundry sack full of my stuff, people were giving me looks even before I started asking to use their phone. I felt extremely out of place to say the least.
Thankfully, a Delta airlines employee helped me out. She had a calling card that allowed me to use the pay phone. I got looks from everyone walking by me using that pay phone lol

My God, soon there will be public clocks again.
Considering what our masters have done with our wonderful new communications tech, I’d invest in pigeons. Public phones are just the first line of defense.
i think this is one of those things where you don’t notice it until it’s pointed out. pay phones used to be normal and almost everywhere. often times you don’t even notice that some are still there.
someone points out “hey there’s pay phones still, seems they’re popping up out of nowhere” and now you realize they are around still and take notice.

You have to be rage baiting coming up with that conclusion from seeing an old pay phone in a small town. It worked
The Australian national phone company Telstra, installed a bunch of new “payphones” recently, and made them all free to use.
It was a nice gimmick, and the kids thought they were cool ( and useful once when my son lost his phone ).
Unfortunately they haven’t been maintaining them, and I haven’t found one that has worked in a while.
That one in your picture looks like it has been there forever.
Keep in mind, cell phones work using the same backend infrastructure as modern landlines. Each tower wires into that physical network to route to other towers.
