Is it the medicine, or is it that statistically people with severe depression are more likely to be on depression medicine? I believe the SSRIs to be a spurious correlation.

What percentage of people that commit mass violence are clinically depressed and/or have a mental health concern?

I believe this is probably mass killers are more likely to be severely depressed and having a mental health episode. People severely depressed are more likely to be on medication. Medication = shooter is a false correlation. A coincidence that ignores the real problem, which is mental health itself.
