Isnt pledge the word celebrities/multi-nationals use which translates to „I will yeah“
Per Claude AI: Google, Meta and Microsoft collectively make approximately $2.08 billion per day.
Meanwhile we are cross-subsidising their electricity for datacentres so they can train better AI to put us all out of jobs

That’s nothing to those companies firing CO2 into the atmosphere for useless AI models. Just Google alone that 3 million is 0.000014% of their 2024 profits and there’s 3 companies so split it in 3. Put it this way if you had a housing estate maintenance fund and three lads living there were on 100k each then pitching in the same percentage would be like each one giving 49c.

3m is absolutely pitiful, but we need desperately need more habitat conservation across the country hopefully at least it happens
Does anyone know what REwet means..? AFAIK the Shannon is being held 15-20 foot higher than its natural level since ardnacrusha was installed… so is the place not wetter than at any time in the last few thousand years..?
