      The Cold War is still alive and kicking. The US bust-up with India, the bilaterals between India and Russia, the close relationship between Pakistan and US … it’s all from the Cold War folks.

      Interesting traingular relationships:

      India and China love Russia (for cheap energy), but India and China are not really on good terms, as far as I know. So, I wonder if hits „menage a trois“ will have a longlasting future.

      All I see here in the comments is that so many people are blissfully unaware of Indian history. Up until the year 2000 India was under sanctions or restrictions of some form from the US. In all those years USSR and then Russia were the only time tested allies we had. If not for USSR sending subs to the Indian Ocean to counter Task Force 74, India may not even be a country today.

      India has always been diplomatically playing all sides (Russia, China, Europe and the US) very well by being very neutral in its approach to all continents.

      And it doesnt like to go along with the US push to “forcefully pick sides”.

      The EU should have done the same but after ww2 it needed those security guarantees from the US to prevent another possible world war and we got entangled to deeply with the US now to be able to be “neutral” in its approach and deal with each continent strictly based on merrits only.

      Now I wonder what the US will do. Will it force its will upon India even further and further risk India moving closer to Russia and China? Interesting times.

      People especially white ignorants who lives in the US and Europe should understand that there is a reason for India relying on Russia and US is the main reason for that. Everybody knows that half of the conflicts ongoing in this planet would end if we collectively decide to wipe out US from existence.

      Russia always stood with India from the Cold War era to till date like a brother!! And now it’s more important for India to have Russia on his side after Trump’s retardness.

      I think that if I call someone my good friend or best friend, I should also be able to call them out when they are doing something wrong.

      Russia has been a good friend to us but invading Ukraine, a sovereign country and murdering innocent people cannot be justified and must be called out. We cannot keep turning a blind eye to the atrocities being committed in Ukraine!

      China has used the past 10 years to become independent in all kind of key technologies while the west was focused on profiting from China while they are in this process. Soon enough doors will close for western business into China
