You don’t make „more“ potatoes when cooking šaltibarščiai. You make too much, and then eat them with butter and salt later (bonus, if they’re still warm)
As a Lithuanian Šaltibarščiai fan, can say your Šaltibarščiai look good. Sure, there is never too much potatos.
