If he’s going to heaven, I’m out. Sign me up for brimstone and sulfur. If that sort of thing exists.

    2. ha ha ha now we’re supposed to believe he believes in god?

fuck outta here with this nonsense

    3. PoetryJunior1808 on

Good luck with that. A simple meeting between your VP and the last pope coincided with the latter’s death within days (unfortunate that it was not the former). Now you think that you should be let in the pearly gates? Why? Want to launch a coup against heaven? Pretty sure someone already tried that. Maybe you know him.

He really doesn’t understand ANYTHING about heaven, does he? Rather than grift people for money, he should be giving money AWAY. It’s called CHARITY and COMPASSION, Donny.

    5. Matthew 19:23-24

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

(It’s one of the few times that Jesus repeats himself. Almost like he said, “Did I stutter?”)

There is nothing to be done: the man Trump met at Midnight at the Cross Road has very little patience, and he always collects.

Mathew 6:24, „No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.“

Matthew 19:24, „And again I say unto you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.“

ETA: Matthew 25:42-45, “ ‚For I was hungry and you have me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.‘ They also will answer, ‚Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?‘ He will reply, ‚Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.‘ “

ETA 2: All I did was quote some Bible verses and people can’t tell if I’m pro-religion or anti-religion. Very funny.

    8. Have to assume schadenfreude isn’t really allowed up in heaven, or money, but damned if St. Peter couldn’t sell tickets at the pearly gates when certain people are scheduled to make their appearances.

Televangelists would be the best. Smug assholes preaching the prosperity gospel and living high on the hog off their followers donations getting dragged off to hell would be primo entertainment.

The only god Trump worships is himself. I haven’t been in church in decades, but even I know its called Second Corinthian, not two Corinthian, and if I was running for president, I sure as shit would be able to give my favorite bible verse, and it wouldn’t be my actual favorite: [Deuteronomy 25:11-12](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Deuteronomy%2025%3A11-12&version=NIV).

Heaven’s borders and customs would stop him from entering. He may end up in afterlife CECOT without having the benefit of due process, of course.

    10. Im not religious but that sounds like the exact opposite of what would get you into heaven. Not that he ever had a chance.

Evangelicals, who backed Trump in large numbers mostly, save for Pentecostals and few other Charismatics, believe that once you accept Jesus Christ into your heart, heaven is guarantee. This should tell evangelicals that Trump is not a true, confessed Christian.

Sadly, as church membership plummets, and as pastors lean harder and harder into politics and culture wars, fewer and fewer congregants know their oen doctrine. John MacArthur, an author whose works influence pastors all over the world, and an architect of Christian Nationalism through his philosophy, has recently disavowed the movement as he realizes the monster he helped create. He did a survey across churches affiliated with his movement and very few know the central tenets of their own faith. Including salvation through faith, the very bedrock of evangelicalism. It’s a tiny tiny sliver of hope, but combine this with plummeting church attendance, my hope is evangelicals recalibrate. I don’t expect them to stop being socially conservative, but maybe this will open their minds to just how many bad actors have taken them for rubes over the years. Unlikely, but at least, no matter how much they deny it, they’ll know that the man they through their weight behind and disenfranchised people on behalf of played them for fools. Trump’s name alone is a down-ballot booster. 2022 proved that. His declining health, inability to learn the book he sold expensive gold versions of, and now this will lower his clout among his main base of support.

More likely, Trump will pull the „I accept Jesus“ card as soon as he starts getting worse than he is.

      Let’s see, 7 deadly sins…

      Wrath ✔
      Lust ✔
      Greed ✔
      Gluttony ✔
      Pride ✔
      Envy ✔
      Sloth ✔

All present and correct. The only hope he has is if Lucifer refuses him entry.

The antichrist can’t just go to heaven. He needs to get some MAGA faithful to trade places with him. Any takers??

    14. HallucinogenicFish on

Something something “rich man,” something something “camel,” something something “needle”

    15. That’s the nice thing about evangelical heaven!

You can live the most depraved life, raping women and children and actively destroying the lives of countless others, but if you just believe and repent at the end, it’s a golden ticket to a glorious afterlife!

So much for God as a check on evil behavior! Why live a good life when total forgiveness awaits on your deathbed?

There is no heaven which is the largest roadblock to getting into heaven

Maybe God and humanity will forgive Trump’s transgressions and sins if he immediately changes his was and atones for his transgressions and sins and releases the Epstein files.

Matthew 25:40 “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me“ this is the verse that matters to me. The man, his policies, the whole movement are focused on punishing the least of us, and by Jesus’ own words, punishing Jesus himself.

    19. Galactic-Guardian404 on

Maybe he’d settle for forcing a camel through the eye of a needle?

    20. If Heaven and Hell exist. He will go to neither, he will simply cease to exist. Which is a disappointment because he won’t see how many celebrate once he’s gone.

    21. No-Departure-899 on

Lol there is zero chance anybody from this administration would be allowed into heaven.

    22. aquagardener on

Word in purgatory is that if he gets denied entry, he’ll impose 42069% tariffs on heaven. 😢

    23. You do not make it into Heaven through good works. You make it to Heaven through good faith. Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. A fundraiser, a super PAC, and „saving America“ will not get him there.

    24. MyCleverNewName on

This reminds me about the fact that donald trump is a serial rapist and child molester who probably had his pedophile best friend murdered to silence him.

Rot in piss and shit for eternity, trash. If there is a heaven or hell you deserve neither. Obliteration of your petty evil soul.

    27. This whole thing perfectly shows how the media shares a huge part of the blame for Trump’s success.

It is totally ridiculous to discuss this seriously. Heaven for Trump is Epstein island but golden.

And things like this have happened for 10 years where everyone pretended Trump was a serious man. He is not. No. You are shaming yourselves.

    28. Someone who puts Jesus in cages and led Maria bleed to death is for sure not going to heaven

    29. This is Christianity’s biggest fallacy. Basically a license to be a shitty awful person your entire life and repent last minute hoping to get into heaven.

    30. May his last days be when he finally developed a conscience and is attacked with guilt to the point that he confesses all of his crimes and outs all his accomplices

    31. Tart-Pomgranate5743 on

I seem to recall “it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” But I think Trump has always conveniently ‘forgotten’ that verse…

    32. Dude I have a hard time believing Trump isn’t dying after that whole rant. This is a guy who is always speaking on what’s at the top of his mind, and “hey you’re dying” is definitely news that’s going to leak into the every day ramblings of a guy like him, no matter how badly he wants to keep believing he’s going to live to 120
