You can ask to pay in installments. Just make sure to pay the running costs.
By bank transfer to the IBAN mentioned in the letter, make sure to put your Beitragsnummer in the reference field.
And you should do the this pretty quickly, because the deadline was 2 weeks ago and the whole thing will soon be enforced by bailiffs.
By the way, this is not an advance payment, but a settlement of the arrears. Next payment will be due mid November.
This is already a Zahlungsaufforderung, and it mentions that you got a letter from them beforehand. You need to pay the monthly fee since April until September.
You have to pay via Überweisung to the bank account of YOUR STATE:

Add your Beitragsnummer in the field „Verwendungszweck“.

Select the state you live in and add your Beitragsnummer as reference to the transaction.

in advance? they ask you to pay the fee from april till september, you didn’t pay for nearly half a year
and seriously have you checked the date of that letter? it’s 29.07, this is over a month old. why do you open this letter a month later?
