The only way for this to actually have any meaningful effect would be for conservatives to turn on the administration. But they won’t, they’ve all fallen in line.
The Democrats have no power and may be compromised anyway so they can’t or won’t do anything.
The Supreme Court is owned by the administration and the lower courts have been slapped around and repeatedly rebuffed by the SC.
The states don’t have access to whatever evidence they would need to bring state level charges.
Individuals can only get themselves arrested or killed if they try and do something by themselves.
Most people realized there was nothing they could do. When one party controls the government and they’re all loyal to the President, that President can get away with almost anything. We’re pretty much cooked as a country.
