The issue with Trump getting the Nobel Peace Prize is that it reduces the value of the award significantly. If Trump gets one, many people will consider the award meaningless.

Norwegian here. There is no way for foreign leaders to influence the Nobel committee.
I hope that the Nobel committee has the sense, and courage, to never consider Trump for the Peace prize. If they ever do give it to him, they will never be considered credible or trustworthy ever again.
