It’s not baseless. He is quite ill („not doing very well“ by his own admission), elderly, obese, and has multiple symptoms of declining cardiac, renal, and cognitive health. Disappearance of a president for 3 days without explanation is not normal. Given his history, the most logical explanation is that he’s hiding something.
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
Baseless: Trump is an out of shape elderly man who eats nothing but McDonald’s, not seen for days, canceled his public events on Labor Day weekend, and VP is telling anyone who’ll listen that he’s ready to take over if the president dies.
