This is an attack on the principle of the UN itself. If the US can decide who gets to attend it’s no longer an unbiased host.
This is just one more example of Trump or his administration being stupid. Beyond the fact that the US has allowed visas for much worse people, it’s a bad look. Maybe the UN will move somewhere more neutral due to antics like this
