Not gonna lie, I wonder how much of that is based on the whole „mom and pop“ support rather than anything else. I don’t know how many people, even in their 30’s would be able to handle things ok if they didn’t have support from their family.
That in itself is not a bad thing, but I’m just cautious of the long term impact, as these support structures are not sustainable.
O look. A chart that noone in power, put there by the people who voted them, will ever acknowledge.
Wtf Germany?
A meat dish costs about €3 if you cook it yourself. Every other day is €45 per month. Rly?

I have a good Greek friend, top lawyer (and his wife) with his own office and staff. He ended up leaving for Poland, took his whole family with him, just coudn’t make ends meet. I don’t know what we Kypreoi do, but we find a way to make it work
Greek here, our crisis was characterised as the worst any developed nation has faced without war occurring since records begun in 1870….imagine the 1929 recession in America but prolonged for a decade. It’s only after Covid that things have improved but people are divided and about half of them don’t think that living standards have improved. Things are improving though now, the economy has begun to breath and while inflation and Covid prolonged the existing crisis now things are getting better.
Greece has been bottom of a few Eurostat charts, not just this one. It will take decades for the country to recover from the euro crisis.
