      Then they voted for him as President in 2016, 2020, 2024.

      That’s six votes each by dozens of millions of people.

      We continue to complain about the disease while ignoring the root cause.

      Attempting to overturn elections, suing judges, trying to find ways around the constitution. Yeah. Not a real president.

      He’s not destroying America. He is dismantling it piece by piece so they can be sold to the highest bidder. Like when a venture capital group buys a failing business, fires everybody before selling the assets and the debts and making massive profit.

      It’s capitalism. Nothing is not up for sale.

      trump is a symptom more than a cause. Republicans are destroying America. Because they hate the America that built a social safety net under FDR and especially hate the attempt to build America into an actual pluralist democracy. They yearn for the apartheid state.

      Is that an opinion? By every empirical measure he is doing that, and it’s not just the economy. We’ve gone down in the rankings for democracy and a free press, and in red states infant mortality has gotten worse. He’s made measles great again. He is turning America into a third world country and police state.

      The 77m Americans that voted for the convicted criminal promising to rule as a dictator, and the 90m who couldn’t be bothered to vote against him, ended the American experiment to build a democracy in November 2024.

      Many people who want to live in a democracy are still in the first stage of the grieving process, denial.

      When does an op ed become a statement of fact? I see a ton of these editorials and they’re all correct. Despotus and the 50 shades of gray house are well on their way in fighting our democracy. It blows my mind that he has an approval rating at all.

      Opinion? It’s fact. The only thing up to opinion is how far he has come down that path to destruction, and that we will not know until it’s all over, like with all fascist movements throughout history.
