    1. Wait… How is Cyprus considered „partialy within Europe“ its literally an island!

    2. Just a correction, Turkey is not participating in Eurovision based on political decisions (yeah, I know).

    3. to be fair the Australian head of state (on paper) is still the monarch of England, so currently king Charles

Russia is a terrorist and it makes absolutely no difference where they are, even in Antarctica.

We should forcibly move Australia to Europe and make it join all of them.

Egypt and Syria are never gonna be admitted into anything truly European.
Australia and New Zealand should join more organisations.
Thankfully none of these countries is in the EU yet.

    7. Malta is also technically located on the African tectonic plate, but is considered a part of Europe.

Can we kick Israel out of sports already like we did with Russia?

How much genocide needs to happen before we fucking kick them out?

This looks more like a summary of Facebook relationship states.

    10. Why doesn’t Russia leave the European sports associations and starts their own club with their BRICS circlejerk buddies?

Morocco participated in Eurovision only 1 time in history, and it was in 1980.

Me: „Ha! They didn’t include the most important one: Eurovi…“

    13. I mean I know Russia is heavily disliked due to the war but saying it’s not European is incredibly wrong.

Egypt can compete in Eurovision. But most Muslim nations either never wanted to compete or dropped out. Turkey even won it before it turned fully gay activism. Turkey’s broadcaster said they can’t show a woman with a beard on TV when kids are awake. And this is the culture of many Eurovision members they will never get away with showing the modern version on TV. Russia and Belarus are banned for breaking the rules as their broadcaster is not free from state influence so they can’t compete.

So in theory Egypt is a member of Eurovision and could at any point compete even next year. With Israel participating most Middle East nations will refuse to ever compete. But even if Israel is gone they still won’t compete under current conditions overall. So you’d need to change the whole format and ban certain flags and symbols.

    15. Morocco was in Eurovision once in 1980 and never came back. Bit of stretch to call it a participant.

I thought Kazakhstan was located in Central Asia? Is it because the western tip of the nation is on the other side of the Ural river?

    17. Russia is banned for now from that list. Even this post is to create a little bit of good old days, but Russia crossed the Rubicon in 2014 with Crimea also in 1945 and probably 300 times in its own history.

Israel is currently committing a genocide. We shouldn’t treat like a regular country. It isn’t one.

Izrael should be canceled from Europe since they are committing crimes on Human rights according to the EU .

    20. Partially in Europe also includes countries such Spain, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, Denmark and the UK.

    21. in what world is Kazakhstan partially in Europe but Cyprus is not? Even Armenia is closer to Europe by geographic location

    22. Instead of UEFA Euro and Eurobasket it should be UEFA and FIBA Europe membership

    23. In what universe is Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan geographically inside Europe but not Armenia?

    24. Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Cyprus and Armenia are both European and Asian. Why is it so hard for so many people on Reddit to consider them BOTH European and Asian? It is not an exclusive thing.

    25. EuroVision is not supposed to be limited to Europe in a geographical, cultural or political sense strictly. It is supposed to foster friendly relations beyond any definition of Europe.

Sport associations are tied to any concept of Europe a bit more, but often their idea is to unite all of geographical Europe and whoever was part of the Soviet-led bloc and wants to join

Not sure it makes sense to include these orgs in such a list except for lulz

Btw isn’t Cyprus on the Anatolian plate which extends a tiny bit into Europe? Might be wrong on that one.

Russia is not in eurovision anymore and I don’t see them making a return anytime soon.

Data not up to date Turkey does not participate in Eurovision since years

    28. Ok-Lettuce5983 on

how the fuck is Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan „partially in Europe“ but not Cyprus??🤣

    29. Ok, this bullshit with Russia is counterproductive. First, it is European country, came to be in Europe. Second, it’s capital is in Europe. Third, even if you cut off the Asian part, Russia is still the largest country in Europe, both by land (40% of European soil) and the population (110 million just in European part). Us hating Putin cannot change the common sense.

      Turkey as well.
