Just try rewatching The Anna Nicole Smith show; it was worse than you thought. Hollywood and we (as watchers) treated her like trash. I’m not sure who got it worse, Anna or Monica Lewinsky

One thing I really respect about Kathy is that from what I’ve seen she has been really open and willing to take criticism and reflect on her past actions.
Apologizing to someone who has been dead for 18 years. Very meaningful. Definitely not a gimmicky attempt for attention.
I saw some type of Autopsy TV show. After death she was diagnosed with the auto-immune disorder Hashimoto’s disease. How sad it wasn’t diagnosed in her lifetime and treated. It probably caused her a lot of problems.
Anna Nicole got shit on for decades. You can say it was for drug abuse or was somehow deserved, but it wasn’t. If you remember her life, you’ll realize the thing she got the most shit for was her weight. It was obnoxious and pathetic.

I’ll say it. Better late than never. You’re all absolutely right that it’s incredibly late, and has odd optics like she needs attention, but isn’t it better to admit fault and apologize than not at all?
To everyone saying „she was abused, so let’s abuse her more“, is that not exactly what Griffin is talking about + apologizing for? Not a fan of hers in the slightest, but I’d rather people come around to being better people and admitting they were at fault than not. 🤷🏻♂️

lol apparently no one listened to the source of this which was her YouTube show. She doesn’t say she was vicious to her, she said comedy in the 90s and 2000s was vicious. She talks about her encounters with Anna Nicole. Which are hilarious. You couldn’t not talk about her at the time, it was too good. She’s not making fun of her post-mortem or apologizing for making jokes. She’s a comedian whose material is her life, celebrities, and her encounters with celebrities.
A little fucking late for that one, aren’t you? Even if she was being nasty and rough like you said, you didn’t have participate. She made the choice to go at a clearly mentally unwell woman. No one forced Kathy to say these things. Only her need to get attention.
