My own daughter attended with a gang of her friends after getting their LC results.
Sincere condolences to the young woman’s family and friends. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
They really need testing facilities at these things, too much shit getting mixed in, and with fentanyl and the likes, it’s going to get worse.
Sad to say that a male also died who had attended the event. Let’s not speculate as to what happened before the autopsy hopefully finds a definitive answer.

These stories remind me of a local one. Kid took a pill out of a bag with everyone at a house party. Where others had weird trips (One guy ended up eating the step outside like a sandwich and another stripped off, got cut and decided to spread blood everywhere) this poor lad had a massive heart attack and died as everyone else was preoccupied with tripping.
Two lads walking by saw the guy eating the step and glanced inside the open door and saw him on the floor with blood everywhere with naked people. One started CPR but he was gone. Think he was a week away from starting college and had just moved in with his friends.
His sister has done amazing work to raise awareness about all of this over the years. I pass by the house it happened in every so often and it’s all done up but I cant not think of that poor boy.
RIP. Don’t do drugs.
whilst it’s sad and I’m sure she was a lovely young lady with a very bright future, you really are playing russian roulette when you buy and take pills for kicks. Some people will have nothing but great fun, others will become very sick.
this is not to say I haven’t partaken myself but the risk was always in the back of my mind.
