    1. This morning at 6:30, I was walking to the gym. On Triq is-Swieqi hesding to Triq is-Sidra, 2 tourists drunk out of their mind, were on a rental scooter facing the wrong direction and riding into the path of 2 cars coming the opposite direction in a 1 way road. The cars had to take avoiding action. The guy riding the scooter had blood shot eyes and could barely stay up, while the girl on the back was playing on her phone slurring her words in Spanish.

I doubt the police will be in tourist hotspots between 4:30 and 7am checking for drunk and drugged up drivers and riders.

Kicking in one of the easiest open door in history 😀

Now let’s see how much of this is actually implemented and enforced before we start signing away our souls to the government.

I can’t help but feel this “without reasonable suspicion” is a slippery road indeed. It’s almost like advanced democracies make this sort of stuff a cornerstone of their society. Here in malta the entire population suffers a serious loss of rights due to the misbehaviour of a few. Ridiculous.
