      Most of these assholes do not represent their party.

      We need to entirely divest from Israel. They are enacting a genocide and it is disgusting that our party does not care about the voters.

      I almost don’t have words for Ken Martin, there is nothing so useless that I can think of – less than a worm, less than dirt under my fingernails. This is a political party that is vacant in every way that matters.

      They voted against the ban, but also, BEFORE the vote, DNC leadership pressured the resolution’s author (Minnerly) to withdraw the amendment.

      These people are scum, they do not represent liberal or leftist values.

      However, there is still a minority of representatives inside the Democratic Party – who are pro-labor, pro-human rights, etc. – and these people need to be recognized and supported wherever possible.

      We need to separate the wheat from the chaff, that is our project as a political movement at this point.

      I see them call out 90% support for a ban on arms delivery but the sources linked say no such thing.

      Is Ken Martin editorializing “we don’t like the military action” into “we dont’t want weapon shipments”?

      I’m sick of the pathological relationship the U.S. has with Israel. I don’t want to be associated with that country at all, much less supply them with weapons. The DNC needs new representatives who are principled enough to tell AIPAC to fuck off, permanently.

      My mom who is crazy old, liberal as hell, always pro Isreal, like ww2 was a recent thing when she was young and it was horrifying what Hitler did, is like wtf is wrong with Isreal right now, we should not be helping them, yes hamas sucks but this is ethnic cleansing and genocide. So many in the party with that D in their hands not knowing what to do with it.
