      Should I stop watching movies then? This is such a random silly thing to say as an actor. I could see other people making such a comment, but a movie actor? 🤨

      As someone whose livelihood depends on movies, I’m not tired of them. But it would be great to be rich enough to not care about it anymore.

      Denzel seems like the kind of celebrity that I don’t want to hear any personal opinions from simply because I know he’ll eventually say something that’ll stop me from enjoying his movies.

      I can’t understand being part of the filmmaking process and not being in love with movies. I’m sure working on film sets provides a different and maybe „work-oriented“ lens to watching films, but surely you’d want to watch the work of your peers?

      I mean he’s old, I’m only 37 but put me in a comfy chair and turn down the lights past 8pm and I can fall asleep no problem.

      I watch most movies at home now because I can get up move around/grab a snack, not miss anything and keep myself awake.

      That’s good cause I’m tired of his acting at this point. After Fences it felt like he gave up and phones it in now. I’d still like to see him on the stage though!

      Yeah movies have sucked for several years, here and there a gem pops up most recently Sinners. But these trash re-hashes or sequels or super hero movies ruined it.

      Bad week for just movies as a whole lol? Snoop and Denzel are fed up with all movies apparently, although I guess I trust Denzel more even though he gave less of a reason

      I’m tired of the current movie market.

      90s and 2000s movies were fun.

      Now they are lazy and forgettable. I’ll see one film in theaters a year, and there a big if.

      He told Josh Brolin not to speak to him or look him in the eye, Denzel even put his hands on him on the set of American Gangster. Brolin brought it up in a recent interview and laughed it off, but also seemed a little sore about it still. I think Denzel is probably not a great guy.

      Agreed. Movies nowadays are just so shit and boring. Compare what’s coming out to any decade of the 20th century and it’s night and day.

      I think seeing and experiencing everything behind the scenes would ruin the magic. I don’t watch or follow anything “celebrities” do, they are just characters in film and tv, so I might be biased.
