If I’m not wrong, there was also a flight to Kazakhstan, looks like it has been canceled. There was also flights to Delhi mentioned somewhere. But it also doesn’t exist.

That is quite a lot compared to some years ago.

I remember there were direct flights from/to the Baltic countries too, especially Latvia as RIX the main hub in the region. 🤔 And no direct flight to the Nordics, the UK? That’s strange.

The only country I see missing is Tunisia with weekly Monastir flights from May to October every year. Another country that might need to be mentioned is Oman, we had direct flights at the begining of this year and there are rumours that it might be continued this winter season, although the map is right, the flights are not operating as of now

Just checked. Montenegro doesn’t have any direct flights.

I wish there’d be a direct flight from Japan 😫 takes 20-40 hours on average to fly home..

Why Tajikistan has no direct flights to Armenia? Are you against Tajik (Iranian) nations?

I’d say. It’s pretty good for our tiny Airport. In fact, about falf of flights are to Russia. So, considering that the airport is at capacity now, if you removed Russia flights, there would be even more countries to connect to as well.

UK and Netherlands are crazy…
Switzerland and Nordics would be nice too, but cmon no London?
Also we overly rely on other nation’s airlines and we also subsidize them. I understand that our own airlines don’t bring in profit but so be it, most national carriers operate at a loss, it’s a question about autonomy and national security.
Air is our only way out to the world and we need to control that inflow, we need to be able to import/export large volumes of cargo through our own companies, it’s quite literally a matter of national security.

Such a shame that America isn’t one of those countries. Huge gap in service and connectivity until that’s the case

In Spain we only have one. The flight costs 800€ from Barcelona. It’s too expensive
