It’ll never happen but they need to completely rethink the primary calendar in terms of which states are voting first. The last several cycles we’ve lost quality candidates because they don’t pull good numbers in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.

I don’t give a single shit who Democrats in Iowa, New Hampahire, and South Carolina prefer to vote for. Sorry.

They need to let the people in Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Arizona get their voices in as early as possible since we all know those states are the most critical in the general. From there they should move to the „safer“ blue states, and the solid Red states can go last.

If the DNC still has to be spending time coddling to people whose single voter issue is still somebody else’s war 8k miles away, our nation is truly fucked

I legit don’t know which party pisses me off more at this point

Like it should be the fascists but somehow the democrats are making this a two horse race

    4. I am just so afraid the DNC will take the approach similar to 2020 where they look at being the favored choices for 2026 and and 2028 and ride that but no true platform other than „we aren’t them and won’t do their things“, but then literally do nothing.

This is of course assuming that the voting fuckery doesn’t give the GOP their wins.

I won’t be getting my hopes up. The democrats haven’t properly campaigned for over a decade.

They didn’t learn from how Obama won. He was not a household name when he launched his campaign in 2007. He listened to the people, he spoke about their issues, he shares their anger. He won the primary again someone the Dems thought had „done their time and earned a seat“ and gave America 8 amazing years as president.

So of course Dems decided they needed to keep pushing candidates who’d done their time and earned their seats. Once again we had Clinton. Against Trump she barely campaigned, she treated the election cycle like a coronation. The moderates didn’t like that and by the power of the electoral college we had Trump.

2020 a bunch of Dems sucked up Iowa votes and dropped out declaring Biden should lead the country (fuck you Pete), America saw how badly Trump was borching the pandemic and agreed to allow Biden to be a „transitional president“. Well Biden and Dems decided that they didn’t pinky swear to „transitional president“ and the elderly man went again. Then he dropped out 110 days before election and opted to select his own replacement. America didn’t appreciate this and again Trump.

Dems have been dropping the ball hard. Trump has a great track record of outwitting them. They ought to be ashamed but they keep pulling the same crap and letting America fall to the right.

10 bucks says the DNC manages to drop the ball on Gaza in a new and completely stupid way, like adding a bill making divest movements a hate crime to their legislative priorities.
