Auf derselben Pressekonferenz sprach die von der Polizei zuständigen Stadtverwaltung auch die Unruhen ein, die nach dem Tod eines Minderjährigen, der an einer Polizeiverfolgungsjagd beteiligt war, auf einem angeblich gestohlenen Roller involviert, der der Familie sein Beileid ausgibt und gleichzeitig untermauert, dass nichts entschuldigt, das Beamte angreift oder öffentliches Eigentum zerstörte.
Ich hoffe, dieser Thread wird nicht wie der andere in ein Müllcontainerfeuer, aber vielleicht gibt es vielleicht einen mittleren Weg zwischen „Alle Polizei sind Nazi -Schweine“ und „senden Sie alle Minderjährigen, die an den Unruhen beteiligt sind, wo immer sie sind, auch wenn es nur das nächste Dorf ist»?

I’m not swiss, so I am not completely current on all of this, but I don’t understand how people can’t see that while obviously it’s the fault of the boy on the scooter for being stupid, a lot of community anger also came from the loss of respect and trust for the police.
There was literally a (black) guy caught selling drugs who died while being interviewed by the police. I’ve never been to a police interview before, but in all the interviews I had in my life, I’ve never been anywhere close to feeling like I’m going to die.
Yet when the police caused the man to die, nobody was gleefully calling for the police to be kicked out of the country, they were calling for investigation to the truth. Yet when minority communities become inflamed by racism, people only react angrily without asking what’s the truth.
My opinion is that the violent rioters do need to be punished. But I am shocked that there’s so much tribalism in the comments about left wing being anarchists and the right wing are always upstanding. Isn’t that just going to worsen the situation?
So 10%. What’s the % of the Global Swiss population is racist (real question, could not find data) ? Maybe it’s just representing the overall population ?
