There was never incentive for him to make a deal. He wants to take Gaza. He will take Gaza now.
I think there is a good chance he knew October 7th was coming, but they let it happen so had a reason to clear out Gaza.
I have a hard time believing the intelligence agency that had every Hezbollah pager and walker talkie fitted with explosives couldn’t tell Hamas was amassing an attack. Not only that they had a skeleton crew protecting the border that day.
To this current regime, sacrificing some lives for their greater goals is easy, just like they don’t care about the hostages.
People will call me crazy, but someday the truth will come out and like most major wars in history, they mostly begin with a lie.
I hate how Dems are reluctant to act on stuff. They are afraid to call out Netanyahu, afraid to have the FBI go after Trump. Regular Palestinian and regular Americans have to suffer for the timidity.

So the Biden administration tried to pressure Israel to agree to a premature ceasefire to stop the war and get the hostages back but allow Hamas to remain in power.
Not exactly shocking why Israel dragged their feet on that one. They want to end Hamas once and for all and get the hostages back. This has been clear from day one.
