The price of drink is out of hand, and is leading to social segregation.

They’re gonna pass some of that reduction onto customers, right?

    4. I’d like to see a carve out for smaller Irish breweries and distilleries, but Diageo and Heineken can get fucked. Their tap-hogging, venue exclusives and other underhand business practices mean I have no sympathy for them.

    5. Would they even lower the prices if they got it? Feel like they wouldnt tbh

How about a 10% increase instead and we use that money to increase the higher rate cut off? Or if we’re all out for ourselves I’ll take a 100% tax reduction in my personal tax bill and a special „dont be ****“ tax on the hospitality industry with twice the rate for the drinks lobby

Sure, if we scrap MUP or make it a tax like it always should’ve been

Just lower the price of pints if this goes through is all I’m asking

    9. I look forward to seeing our civically-minded vintners setting those prices hurtling through the floor now

Will this bring down the price of cans or does the MUP set a price floor?

I’ve long complained that we have been far too accommodating to the pub industry and it’s surrounding businesses.

      Fuck this too

Because they’re definitely going to pass it on to the consumer. Absolutely. No doubt about it
