With little proof or experience, I believe two things:

      1. The Liberals wanted Poilievre back as the CPC leader. They view him as a net positive for Liberal support. There also may be a bit of „the devil you know“ in that a new CPC leader could have been worse for the Liberals.
      2. Poilievre would/will do everything he can to run against Carney one more time. That started with running again in Alberta. He’s betting that the Liberals will fall short and it will be another election of voting against the incumbents versus for the opposition.

Here we are and here we go again.

This is something I like about Carney and something he dosnt get enough credit for .

Let Pierre be Pierre, let Smith be Smith , let Quebec be Quebec and let the sepertist be Sepertist , let the NDP be the NDP .

Trudeau would be putting on his cute little super hero cape and playing all the strings on his bango of partisan politics every chance he gets .

Carney has almost entirely been unbother led by both the more extreme rights reotric and the extremes lefts demand to play into the reotric.

This has both wings acting like squirrels right now frantically looking for a nut.

Its weird , even the media doesn’t know what to do with it ,
