    Afrika südlich der Sahara verzeichnet die schnellste Bevölkerungszunahme in der Geschichte der Menschheit. 7 der zehn am schnellsten wachsenden Städte der Welt befinden sich in Afrika.


    Ganz oben auf der Liste der am schnellsten wachsenden Städte ist Gwagwalada in Nigeria, ein Ort, von dem ich noch nie gehört hatte. Es befindet sich im nigerianischen Bundeshauptstadtgebiet, 45 Kilometer südwestlich der nigerianischen Hauptstadt Abuja, und sein Wachstum hängt mit dieser Nähe zusammen.

    China und Afrika werden immer enger gebunden. China ist jetzt der größte Finanzierer der afrikanischen Infrastruktur. China ist fast der Top -Handelspartner des afrikanischen Landes. Ein geschätztes 1-2 Millionen Chinesen sind nach Afrika gezogen. Die chinesische Technologie prägt bereits den afrikanischen Kontinent mit Sonnenkollektoren und Smartphones. Zweifellos werden die chinesischen KI und die chinesische Robotik auch ein großer Teil der Zukunft Afrikas sein.

      The much crazier stat is that like 13/15 of the highest birth rates in the world including the top 8 are in Africa and probably keeps going I just stopped counting, and the top ones are huge rates lol, it’s mindboggling how fast they’re growing population wise

      The title should be about URBAN population increase, since that’s what the article is about

      Nigeria will become China’s China. It’s on its way to becoming a great Nation, it probably just needs to cook for another 30-40 years. 

      The labor is there, the government and laws are… getting there. There’s lots of land. It just needs capital and better security.

      If they are lucky, they will have enough time for the work force to bring the continent to current century. If not, they are going to be even more screw when corporations, robots and AI take over.

      Population data in Sub-Saharan African countries are somewhat questionable because most of them haven’t conducted census like the Democratic Republic of Congo where its last census was in 1984, so there is a possibility that it is a little bit inflated.
