Hallo allerseits, heute (23.08) besuchte meine Mutter eine kleine Kirche auf der Insel Aevia. Es schien eine Art Urlaubsfeier zu geben, aber da keiner von uns das Griechisch kannte, konnten wir nicht herausfinden, was es war. Nachdem ich nach Hause gekommen war, versuchte ich, das Schreiben dort zu übersetzen und mehr herauszufinden, aber ich bekam nichts, was nicht einmal den Namen der Kirche. Kann mir bitte jemand helfen? Dank im Voraus

The sign just says that the water is safe to drink pretty much. Also google search says that The Synaxis of Panagia Diniou is celebrated on August 23 each year, hence the celebration you mentioned.
The sign isn’t about the celebration. It notes that the water from the spring found at this church is regularly tested and safe to drink. The church is the Virgin Mary of Dinios. From the images I can’t tell what celebration or event this is.
