      President Donald Trump has finally responded to California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), who has been relentlessly trolling him on social media in recent days.

      Talking to reporters Friday, Trump didn’t hold back when asked about the California Democrat.

      “The governor is incompetent,” he said. “I know Gavin very well. He’s an incompetent guy with a good line of bullshit — and he doesn’t get the job done.”

      Newsom quickly fired back on X with just four words.

      Oh so it’s just the same headline every week about some reaction . 

      Really the headline I want to see is just all the newspapers identifying him as a child rapist. I’ll even let set conditional terms like „accused“ or „presumed“ child rapist.

      I know the next insult that Newsom could use that would definitely make Trump blow a gasket: call him ugly. Newsom should tweet about the hair coiffed up to hide Trump’s Stage 4 balding problem. Tease Trump for being short and having to wear big heels to hide it. Call him „Turkey Neck“ (there are cruder descriptions of Trump’s neck, but Newsom might want to avoid anything too vulgar). Talk all about Trump’s make-up, and how he needs to be orange to hide his splotchy pale skin.

      Even for those who aren’t fans of Newsom’s politics would agree that he’s a conventionally attractive man. And while respectable adults don’t usually tease their opponents over their looks, if it was used against Trump, especially by Newsom, he would be really pissed. Trump is a narcissist, even about his tired looks, and this will hurt him in a way that would be hard to shake off.

      I don’t think that it’s just the trolling. Trump fixates on men that look like they came from “central casting” in Hollywood. Gavin, 6’3 without lifts, handsome, still has good hair, articulate, and fit. Everything that Trump isn’t.

      Edit: plus Newsom is aged 58 vs. Trump’s 79.

      Why are there only a handful of Dems saying stuff loud and clear to combat the MAGA rot?

      Mike Pence (of all people) just gave a clear public statement about how tariffs work and the damage they will do. Any of the top DEMs could have done that years ago, but…. crickets. Pathetic.
