Eleven firearms and forty knives. That’s insane. This is supposed to be a celebration.
They do this every year, arrest drug dealers and known gang members to have them on remand or with bail conditions before the carnival.
Still isn’t enough to dissuade the yearly violence however.
Sounds like StabFest 2025 is going to be a massive one.
I’m curious: how was this Carnival back in the 80s – 90s?
At this point it should just be labelled as “go at your own risk”

Remind me again why those crazy religious nutters never protest this event? Mixed fabric wearing, sexual dancing, drug dealing, killing some of the things that always happen when this event is happening yet they spend there times at abortion clinics and pride festivals
