[Supreme Court](https://www.huffpost.com/news/topic/supreme-court) justices routinely trade barbs in their opinions and dissents, but it’s pretty rare for a sitting justice to plainly state that their colleagues are merely a bunch of partisan hacks. But that’s essentially what Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson did [in her dissent](https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24pdf/25a103_kh7p.pdf#page=16) in a case about President [Donald Trump](https://www.huffpost.com/news/topic/donald-trump)’s cancellation of National Institutes of Health grants.
The court’s split decision in National Institutes of Health v. American Public Health Association on Thursday focused on whether the association, 16 states and other plaintiffs could challenge Trump’s cancellation of the grants as “arbitrary and capricious” under the Administrative Procedure Act, the law governing how executive branch agencies may take actions.

They are Heritage Foundation stooges. Heritage Foundation has their claws in nearly every corner of American Politics now and they are the ones who are really running the country. Everyone’s focused on Trump but he’s just a clown in makeup doing an act and signing whatever they put in front of him while strings are being pulled by the Heritage Foundation. FFS, they control the GOP majority state governments across the nation too, just through more „local“ lobbying firms and the legal firms that support them.
There’s a massively complex web of influence that runs the GOP and right now it seems all roads lead to the Heritage Foundation. Where it goes from there, who knows but my bet is it’s not in the United States.
If you live in a GOP state there’s a very good chance your government is being run by the Heritage Foundation in some way or another.

A bunch of us have been saying that for years. I’m glad to see it validated by someone with authority on the subject.
They rule based on bribes and gifts. Unfortunately morality, ethics, and doing the right thing isn’t financially well off enough to give justices RVs, crypto payments, and fishing trips in exchange for favors.
The court lacks integrity.
There is a lack of candor among the justices.
Justices misled at best ,or lied, during their confirmation processes (on Roe).
Thomas lacks integrity including with respect to his financial reports, flights, his vacation trips, and his RV loan forgiveness.
Alito lacks integrity including with respect to his financial reports, flights, his vacation trips, and his „stop the steal“ associated flag
Gorscuh lacks integrity including with respect to his financial reports, selling property disclosures, accepting the nomination after the (republican) senates unscrupulous delay during the Obama administration
Kavanaugh lacks integrity including with respect to his credibly accused sexual assaults and sham of FBI investigation, and financial debt repayments
Barrett lacks integrity including with respect to accepting her nomination after voting had started

I fear for her safety but she’s 100% right and I’m glad people are finally starting to come out and call out the far-right for what they are.
Everyone already knew that which was why so many people were frustrated that guys like Biden didn’t do anything about it when he was in power.
The Dems had their collective heads stuck in the sand for more than a decade on this issue. They slow-walked the country into this mess by refusing to fight the obvious power grab. It’s one reason that so many people abstained from voting Democrat. They keep claiming to be for the people, but their actions have consistently shown tacit complicity.
The conservative justices have been bought. And they are gonna deliver for Donny the Nazi.
