Poor Montreal, they held out longer due to their more robust mid density inventory but it looks like the investors + speculators got to them too 🙁
The article says that „the Montreal market still remains quite affordable when you compare it to those of Toronto and Vancouver“.
In terms of raw prices that might be true, but the median *household* income in Montreal is still under $100k (seriously), so it’s almost worse and basically everyone but the top end of households are priced out.
