He has to pay back his backers in Alberta – the Alberta riding was another reason for him to cozy up to Big Oil and Gas while „visiting“ his riding. Special trips to see them would go noticed but visiting his riding and „accidentally“ bumping into them, well, that’s plausible deniability.
God I hate this man so much.
Do people actually think if Canada today banned all ICE vehicles and made every single car an EV that would have any affect on wildfires? The top 3 emitting countries aren’t going to stop and they produce more carbon than we could ever think of producing.
And no per capita carbon emissions don’t mean anything, the earth doesn’t care about per capita statistics its just a way take heat off of countries like India and China and put the blame individual Canadians
The EV mandate will not slow down climate change in any meaningful way and these articles that try to claim anyone against it doesn’t care about the environment are little more than slop
I can think of no better way to say you are in the pocket of lobbyists and big oil than to come up with a „save the gas powered vehicle“ campaign.
What’s next? A save the coal campaign? How about a „save the whale oil industry campaign.
