A survey of over 77,000 Iranians found that most oppose the Islamic Republic, with only about 20% supporting its continuation.

Roughly 40% favored outright regime change and another 24% supported a structural transition, while support for the 1979 revolution and Supreme Leader fell sharply.

Democracy was backed by 89%, though 43% were open to strongman rule; clerical and military governments were widely rejected.

Among alternatives, support was split between a secular republic (26%) and monarchy (21%), with many undecided.

Exiled prince Reza Pahlavi was the most popular opposition figure (31%), but no single leader or movement commands majority backing.
