Physically *and* financially assaulted in the same night….. some people have no luck at all.

Wandered through it recently. Pack of scummers crowded around a crack pipe mid-afternoon, barely hiding what they’re at. Rotten

Hope this fella is alright and gets home safely eventually.

I meet tourists daily in the course of my work, I always tell them to get clear of Temple Bar after 9pm, it`s a cesspool.

    4. This headline is trying to get us to assume it was scangers or teenagers, who we know are causing multiple issues! But for all we know it could be this guys friends or another tourist. Im not saying it’s not but we need to know more before jumping to accusations

I remember being able to walk through the place at night and it was relatively safe. Now it’s a meeting point for lowlife scum that don’t give a fuck.

    6. Broken windows theory. Allowing junkies to congregate in tourist areas is going to encourage other law breakers to also engage in disorderly conduct.

I really hate moaning about the state of Dublin, as it is generally safe and welcoming with lots to offer, but there seems to be a real air of menace and neglect around now and it isn’t good.
I hope this poor man makes a full recovery and the feral scumbags who did this get punished to the full extent of the law. Optimistic I know, but I live in hope.

Dublin is a kip and anybody paying to get over here on holidays is truly out of their mind. Imagine 50+ great European destinations cheaper and warmer and you pick Dublin.
