Die drei Verdächtigen haben sich angeblich am 5. Juni um 37 tragfähige Cannabis -Samen aus Thailand verschworen. Während ihre genaue Bitte bezüglich der Gebühren unklar sind, gaben sie an, dass sie 40 Samen für ungefähr 47.000 Yen aus einem Cannabis -Laden gekauft hätten. Die Verhaftungen wurden unter dem Verdacht vorgenommen, gegen Gesetze verstoßen zu haben, die den Anbau von Cannabispflanzen regulierten.

Wait, are seeds illegal? I thought it was just THC (unless the law changed in the last 10 years ago or so.)
Source: I have a friend who was arrested for growing weed in Japan, and they saw his professional seeds from a European seedbank, but didn’t take them because they said they are not illegal to own.
That was dumb. Marijuana grows naturally in Japan, particularly on the northern island of Hokkaido. I know Japanese people who have used it. I was shocked to find out it was growing in Japan. They did mention it wasn’t as good as the weed cultivated in countries that it’s legal or legal for medicinal purposes.
Sorry AFAIK seeds are still legal to buy in Japan. Unless that changed?
