Regardless of ethnicity, he deserves a long stretch in prison. The fact that he’s in the country a wet week, it’s pretty clear he will not be a functioning contributor to Irish society.
This country benefits from immigrants, but not this kind.

OMG, that poor bus driver. They already have one of the toughest jobs in Ireland, working long hours, dealing with pressure, and keeping people safe on the roads. To then be attacked like this is disgraceful. I know what it’s like to be attacked, I know the trauma that goes with it. I wish the bus driver a speedy recovery both physically and mentally.
A homeless non national should have been deported long before this. EU citizens have no rights to live in this country if they are unemployed or don’t have the means to support themselves.
Far too many arrive here to claim welfare.
When an immigrant is attacked ? It is racism *by default.*
When an immigrant is the attacker ? It is racist to even *reference* or *query* immigration policies.
You can’t win.
No journalist will ask how is that a man who entered the country with absolutely no plans and no where to live allowed to be here? I honestly have no idea what our immigration policy is, will he even be deported, will he be allowed to seek asylum?
Georgia is deemed a safe country now, why aren’t all the Georgians who are currently seeking asylum not being deported, for example.
But nobody asks these questions, I am a centrist, the issue is the far-right are violent and vicious, awful representation of Ireland.
The left are just as bad but in a different way, going around with their head in the sand
