      Trump is too fucking dumb to be behind any of this. Russia, China, Saudi, and UAE are all making money off American resources trying to prepare for the future food shortages. We are so behind it’s scary.

      serious question – is it unpopular because of the bill itself or because Trump introduced it? The SALT deductions seem solid, and the market hasn’t reacted poorly yet. The medicaid stuff would be unpopular, but amongst a very skewed audience, no?

      Can you kids really not take the blinders off for a second and see what good is coming out of this? Between Elon’s strides to make a fair market for us and Trump strong arming our competition, we are going to be so prosperous soon, you just have to wait, it’s literally the art of the deal and why Elon and Trump, who are self made billionaires, are where they are now. We might have to tighten our belts a little bit and stop buying these ice chocolate coffees and actually make food at home a couple times a week, but soon we will see the benefits-is what my libertarian coworker tells me everyday; he’s a self proclaimed warrior philosopher alpha male and he recently started a puppy mill for pit bulls.

      I’ve been saying for months now that MAGA was going to turn on Trump as soon as he started taking away their benefits. He has started now, because he is done with them, they did their job, so it’s time to throw them to the wolves like he does with everybody else. This is MAGA’s problem. They did it to themselves. If they were so stupid that they didn’t know this was his whole plan all along, that’s on them for letting the TV tell them what was real. They are all acout to start claiming that they were all fooled by this clever man, because they won’t ever take responsibility for this. They weren’t fooled, they knew who they were voting for. Let them pay to fix their problem.

      does it really matter? Republicans got this voted in and really fucked over Americans /America going forward. What exactly does this do by saying it is the most unpopular bill ever? Even if literally only 5% of republicans like the bill, it doesn’t change anything really. Republicans will continue this cycle / trend because they learned long-term it won’t impact their ability to win future elections. Also, from what i remember, they are timing the tax relief to expire right around when they would possibly ‚lose‘ so that Americans will stupidly blame Democrats for it. That’s how dumb Americans are. It worked before, it’ll work again.

      Republicans in leadership have this gameplan in 26′:

      1. we get destroyed in the mid-terms. Who cares, we got our bill in. Plus, party in power gets killed in mid-terms generally anyway. We’ll come back stronger than ever in 28′ or 30′ because the American public have the memory of a Goldfish too!
      2. We still win, we got our bill in and there is nothing the Democrats in general and/or broadly intelligent people can do about it. Average day Republicans really love voting against their own self-interest! Works for us! Particularly in keeping all three branches, when we do everything we can to make voting more painful in the next elections (assuming there are elections going forward), we should be set for decades to come! Christian Nation here we come! Continue to kill education and we’ll have an even dumber group of Americans to easily control!

      Given that Trump won the popular vote, and won Presidential election twice, i have very little respect for the average American these days. With his popularity and election wins, the fact that i learned we have so many unintelligent, self-centered, short-sighted, immoral people here . . . that’s the only real positive out of this.

      All to pay for tax cuts for the rich and fund an unaccountable army of ICE agents – check

      Will add trillions to our deficit – check
